With its extensive networks in South Auckland, Manukau Urban Māori Authority can reach a large and varied demographic in need of emergency support.

Through their food bank at Ngā Whare Waatea Marae in Mangere, MUMA provides food parcels to 180 families each week and assesses each person to determine what support they need. They kōrerotia their circumstances to connect people with the right services.

MUMA are extremely excited to have menstrual products back in stock as part of the range of services they offer to the Mangere community. Their partnership with The Period Place helps ensure that period products reach the families and whānau who need them most.
