From August 12 to September 8th, The Period Place will receive a donation of 5 cents from the sale of every period product from U By Kotex, Libra, Carefree, Stayfree, Tampax, Oi Organic, Tom Organic, Bonds, Vagisil, Femfresh, Evamay and Essentials. We’ll also receive a further donation of a single period product for every pack sold.

In June 2021, period products became free for all schools in Aotearoa who opted in to the Ikura Manaakitia Te Whare Tangata programme. Funding for the initiative is secured until June 2024, providing a critical window to make a lasting impact on the lives of students. However, with the recent change in government, the future beyond this period remains uncertain.
