The Period Place, Aotearoa's leading menstrual equity charity, is on a mission to spark 100,000 conversations about menstruations in 2024 to break down stigma and misinformation.

Why 100K? That's our estimate of the number of menstruators in Aotearoa that don't have the products and knowledge to manage their menstruation each month.

Our goal is bold: 100,000 conversations tagged @theperiodplace on social media. We've made it easy and fun with our chatterbox game! It's a playful, stigma-busting tool that anyone can use to start conversations about menstruation.

How to play:

• Invite someone to choose one of four menstrual phases.

• Open and close the chatterbox as you count "123 Period!"

• Have them pick a number or theme inside, repeating once or twice. 

• Ask them to select an option hidden inside.

• Open it up to reveal the information and spark a conversation!

• Take a pic, post it on Insta and tag @theperiodplace
